iDEAL

The Institute to Develop Equity, Advocacy, and Leadership is an organization that supports leadership development and aims to empower marginalized communities. We believe in equity for all and that a community centered, culturally responsive approach to civic engagement, leadership, and youth development are essential pillars to achieve social and economic justice for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

YES!

YES! Is our innovative approach to community power building and leadership development.

YES! Prioritizes the strengthening of vulnerable and historically oppressed communities. Youth, Economics, and Social justice are the center of our pursuit of equity and advancement for Black, Indigenous, and Communities of Color.

Youth

“The youth of today, are the leaders of tomorrow.” - Nelson Mandela

With evidence based, innovative and nontraditional programs, we elevate and equip young people to cultivate their natural and valuable leadership qualities. We believe that investing in and empowering youth is paramount to sustainable change for Black, Indigenous, and Communities of Color.

Economic Equity

iDEAL develops programs and advocates for policies to support economically deprived communities. Our goal is to increase entrepreneurship and generational wealth for disadvantaged populations.

Social Justice

Centered in collaboration, we advocate for various social justice issues. Our approach to advocacy is grassroots organizing, infused with strategy, analysis, communications, and civic engagement.
